Designed specifically for these types of application, the disc is only offered in the grit sizes medium, fine, and very fine. A soft non-woven web material covers the surface of the disc. The abrasive material used is aluminium oxide. This material is an abrasive grain that has been manufactured synthetically from aluminium oxide. Effective work with the Quick-Change Disc with metal locking Performing cleaning work on varnish and other materials requires that the disc be fitted on a backing pad.
