Smart Microgreen Kit

Description Just Microgreens Kit - 16W 6400K FEF Harvest in 7 days!! Instructions included for growing with seed mat or coco peat. See resourses tab for both options. Coco Peat option • Add 1.3 litres of coco peat and 500ml of water into microgreens tray. • Spread seeds into the coco peat. Place black plastic cover over sprouts from day 1, 2 and 3, then remove. Do not remover sooner. • Spray daily (after the 3 days of germination period and the top mat has been removed) to apply moisture to the seeds and coco peat mix. Don't overdo it or seeds will rot. • Light cycle - 12 on, 12 off. Use the built in timer feature for this. We recommend light on for 16 hours per day, whilst other run it 24 hours per day. • Harvest, day 7 and pop in zip lock bag or sealed air tight container in the fridge for use over the next few days. On day 7 after harvest, discard the existing coco peat, root mat and replace new medium and repeat. Wipe down growing tray with warm soapy water then rinse between crops In cooler months apply bottom heat to assist in production. Grow seed sprouts such as broccoli (most popular), rocket, kale, garden cress, beet, basil, cabbage, mustard, radish. Broccoli microgreens seeds available. Full-grown broccoli is seen as a super food, full of minerals, vitamin C and A, and high in Iron. Broccoli microgreens have just as many nutrients as their full-sized counterparts, if not more. Broccoli microgreens contain a compound called sulforaphane which as effects on cancer, aging, mortality, heart disease, brain, and behaviour, and more. Sulforaphane is heat-sensitive, so you’ll want to avoid cooking your broccoli microgreens and opt to eat them raw instead.
