Description Bring back your empty Co2 cylinder and take advantage of our exchange program. CO2 EXCHANGE BOTTLES (We do not exchange BOC Gases, Air Liquide, Coregas and Supagas) Please read the RULES for CO2 gas cylinder refill and exchange AUSTRALIAN SAFETY ENGINEERS - GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTING CYLINDERS FOR AN EXCHANGE/REFILL PROGRAM 1. The cylinder must be customer owned. BOC Gases, Air Liquide, Coregas and Supagas do not sell cylinders to the public, they are rented and always remain the property of the gas company. This includes new programs like Bunnings Trade and Go Gas. Even though the customer ‘pays’ for the cylinder at the counter, it remains the property of Coregas as the purchase cost is refunded when the empty cylinder is returned. 2. The cylinder must be approved for refilling in Australia. The cylinder must have been stamped by a Registered Gas Cylinder Test Station. 3. The cylinder must be like-for-like (or close to it). Some small variation in the cylinder physical size and volume is acceptable as not all ‘D’ cylinders are the same. All exchanged cylinders should be approx. 10L water capacity, painted grey for CO2 service, have a CO2 (Type 30) valve fitted and meet the above requirements. If the retailer is happy to exchange it with the customer, ASE is happy to exchange it with the retailer.
