the Arri Bridge Plate Wedge provides a solid surface in the Arri Bridge Plate for whenever you need a flat surface beneath the camera. You could use it when balancing on a shotbag for example. Or use it for handheld when you can not remove the BP. There are 3/8 screws if you want to mount a Touch & Go. There is also plenty of surface area to add velcro for a shoulder pad.
